Hiding my light?!

I've got a major interview, third round for a really great opportunity, coming on Tuesday. I asked about my chances for succeeding on in it and got 63.5 > 36.

I get that one phase has been completed, hence 63. And 5 changing tells me to keep things simple [which, in the context of my mathematical work means, be clear, logical and to the point]. But, from what I remember, hiding the light is kind of like hiding my intelligence and, in this context, I would need to to everything but!

How can I keep a low profile when I am meant to shine?

Any ideas?

Simple and to the point yes, but it also has the idea of sincerity being much more important than a big show. Be yourself. Shine yes, but not like a floodlight?

Thank you both for your answers. I'll try to keep them from dwindling...

I later asked if I can do anything to stop my chances from "dwindling" as eloquently put by Willowfox who, by the way, happens to be right every time, and got 19 (Nearing) changing to 11 (The Flow). I got 19 to mean not getting carried away. To stay engaged in every step in the process, meticulously, not just rush into completion. This would make sense because the final interview round consists of them sending me some info 24h before the interview and then I need to work with it and present my findings to them. So, yeh...

And then maybe 11 means that if I can do 19 right, my potential will really show and I will not be obscured.

Gosh, just talking to myself about these readings really helps!!

PS I am not a bum who Ichings all day, I just seem that way.
I am delaying the 30 pages of hard core studying that I still need to do today, on a beautiful Friday eve...

Not sure if this will help, but when i receive hex 36 as a secondary hexagram, I take it as meaning, be prepared for a disappointment of some sort. Whether it's hurt feelings, being looked over like a couple of people have mentioned already, or just feeling like you are not getting what you need or want from the situation.

I am a newbie so take this with a grain of salt. It's just my personal experience with Yi so far.

Namaste and best of luck to you with the job search. Persistence pays off, so no matter how discouraged you may feel at the moment, keep trying and positive changes will follow.

Line 19.3 says that you will need to work really darn hard on the papers that they give you to study and comment upon.

Ah, yes I was in a similar situation before and stayed up until 5 AM to do the presentation. Then got a one line response that they "chose to go in a different direction." Later on they told me I wasn't "deficient in any way but they found someone with more relevant experience."
