Housing limbo...

Prior to Christmas, I resided at my Ex partners place. We have been amicable with the separation and if needed, i would be able to live there until i find my own place. However, there are many issues hence the need to be independent. At present, I am house sitting. And in a few days i will decide whether to take up the offer of renting half an apartment with someone else. There is history with this person also. That is my question... Should I find alternative accommodation

Also it's Hexagram not Hexagon lol (as in 6 lines, not 6 sides). Though the I-Ching would be interesting with hexagons.

Line 6 indicates living on one's own, though it sounds like this is a temporary solution anyways. With line 5 it sounds like while setting a decayed situation into order (the separation) one should live above or away from others. Though 48 can talk about a communal situation, perhaps it indicates living on ones own but with a boundary from others. Like living with roommates in a house but in your own separate room/private area of the house.

Thank you Viru10. Hexagram. I will not forget that. Thank you for you insight, as the day progresses, along with your interpretation, my reading is actually slowly becoming more important as it fits into the situation where i currently find myself. Its so bizarre that you mentioned the communal living. And these boundaries that were always on the backburner, ( living with or near the ex) are now on full lock down and I am ok with it. The settling of the past few years is long over due. 2 years, it was only going to deteriorate beyond repair if i continued in that direction. As it stands, being in this moment, there is opportunities to rebuild. Also rediscovering my integrity and the principles that are my very existence.. f***ing blowing my mind tbh.
