How about a video version of the podcast?

Hmmm... what do you think of this?

It's a fairly simple video version of episode 20 of the I Ching with Clarity podcast: it just puts the hexagrams, trigrams and texts in front of you as I talk about them, and shows you some nice pictures to illustrate the hexagram themes the rest of the time.

What do you think? Is this interesting to watch, or do you prefer the podcast as plain audio? (Note: I'm definitely not going to switch to Youtube, I'm just wondering whether to make a video as an extra, for some or all future episodes.)

Excellent! (Of course. You're good at videos.)

Example...the picture of the big oak with whatever-it-is (moss?) growing all over it while you're busy talking about ecosystem...I saw what you meant. The tree doesn't go looking for ecosystem, it just sits there going about its own business, patiently growing, while ecosystem finds it.

Another: the picture of the very wide river for 64. Very clear why you'd want to make sure before barrelling in.

And the presentation of the nuclear lines, keeping the cast line on the screen while swapping out the others and explaining how they relate back.

Just stumbled onto this thread. I not only think that video versions of the podcast would be great, but I would also love it if there were video (or even just audio) versions of the Hexagram Essays. It would make them even more accessible, in situations like walking or driving (audio only, of course )
