How can the iching help me stay present?

58.2I dig it. Thoughts? I was feeling the iching was enabling my focus on needing answers and clues for how I should manage the future. In many ways, that contradicts the being I’m striving to be. More present. This answer though.

58.2 describes communication that is honest and leads to 17. recognizing what the next sensible step to take. However, to understand the responses we get from IC we need to be in a state of calm receptivity. So I think you are being advised that the very act of communicating with the I Ching automatically promotes this state and your ability to be here now.
