How is my job search?

Dear Sir/Madam

I have been trtying to find a new job for a few years. I would like to move to a better-aligned place where things work naturally, rather than try to make it work here, though I have tried but failed.

I consulted the yijing and get a single hexagram 11.

My interpretation is:

"Peace Marrying Maiden"

Hexagram 11: ride the wave!
Nuclear hexagram 54: may be coming to your own right place.

The surge of energy can 'sweep you off your feet' into a situation where you are no longer in control. Equally it might be something you have to experience in order to know 11 from inside.

Does this mean I am going to be successful in my search?

Please advise. Your insights are very much appreciated.

well I think what you interpreted yourself sounds pretty accurate, but something seems to me like your are too much in the 54 side of things and you need to switch to 11.

I just asked exactly the same question as I have been wanting to get out of my industry for about three years too! I got 19 unchanging.

I have only experienced a reading of 11 in personal relationships before and for me is was like there were difficulties and then one day I was in the moment and so was the other person and there was literally peace and flow of conversation and energy. In one particular situation I wanted the other person to be fired because she got on my nerves (terrible I know) and then it just washed away, no effort involved , I just let go and I didn't even plan too, I was hell bent on holding a grudge right until the bitter end. But another part of me must have had other plans

I'm thinking you might find peace in your current situation rather than a new job...thats my instinct

11 indicates that you won't have any trouble in getting a job. You are making too much of the embedded 54 as 11 overall without any moving lines is really quite auspicious.

Flowing after Treading

I consulted the yijing and get a single hexagram 11.

H11, the Flow of Energy, follows H10, Treading. When job hunting, you are treading the tail of the tiger. If you are successful, you are caught up in the energy flow of a situation (H11) and you ride it successfully.

Here is some useful imagery from the Wikiwing:

"'Heaven and Earth communicate. Flowing.
The prince enriches and accomplishes the dao of heaven and earth,
Supports and structures heaven and earth's mutual help and harmony,
Helps and protects the people.'

The prince has ‘opted in’ to the flow, works with it, creates contexts within which the creative work can be done. Heaven would be ideas and potential energy, earth would be ways and capacity to make things happen. These two communicate – idea people and making-it-happen people sit down together. The idea is to interweave the two as tightly and securely as possible. Get people and energies working together, create synergy."

If you are leaving H10 behind (job hunting), then perhaps you should think less about "jobs" and more about "getting people and energies working together."
