Please use this forum instead of contacting me directly, because a) that makes sure all bug reports are in one place and b) I'll be away for the second half of August, but there may be another user who can help you here.

I touched it with my dirty mouse pointer but didn't react... Oh, Hi Trojina! Just testing the new system and bugging Hilary.

BTW, what makes one a "Clarity Supporter" in yellow highlight? A first born offering? :p

There goes the neighbourhood.

I think that's the number of post likes etc.

In theory, being a current customer. In practice, at the moment, it seems to be pretty random - see https://www.onlineclarity.co.uk/friends/index.php?threads/the-clarity-supporter-badge.28585/

It feels like Christmas around here, everyone trying out the new toys. 😄

(I mean this in a good way.)

Well you know the yellow skirt, yellow undergarments in Yi ? Well the yellow badge is a step up from that and sadly you haven't made the grade I'm afraid Luis.

The clue is in Hilary's comment

"There goes the neighbourhood."

Damn Hilary, you know how in the old forum when you copied and pasted it wouldn't end up where you wanted it ? It's still like that. Your quote ended up all over the place. This is a minor concern right now but thought I'd mention it. Looks like our rofl emoticon went too.

To be fair a flower was promised but no flower has of yet been delivered. But you have been away so long maybe that is why you have been denied the badge.

I have already had notification of 1 'reaction' but of what kind and to what I'm not sure. A scream ? A grimace ? A scowl ?

Not true! Think of me as that part of Santa's song:

He sees you when you’re sleeping
He knows when you’re awake
He knows if you’ve been bad or good

So be good for goodness sake.

There, a bit of paranoia to keep you on your toes... :ROFLMAO:

I think I've just discovered that clicking on a thread title in the forum home page automatically takes you to the first unread post, if you have some.

If you've read everything, clicking on it takes you to the top of the thread.

This is dandy. 👌 I was feeling a little lost without the little "first unread post" arrow-button, and this is even better!

Hm. "think" in that last post was supposed to be italicized, since I do think so, but I'm not 114% sure.

Italics
Bold
Underline
Strikethrough

Preview says that italics and bold aren't working, but the other two are. C'mon, forum.

...and preview was correct. 🙃

(The formatting glitches had already been noted in another thread, it turns out. I wasn't copying, really...)

I'll see if I can find it for you.
Flower? What flower?
To be fair a flower was promised but no flower has of yet been delivered.
The 'thanks' button delivers a large yellow flower.

Well, it *is* Hexagram 19. You'd have no problems with ::|||| .

You can always type hexagrams or trigrams with a combination of | and : ; left-to-right = bottom-to-top, so
Code:
::||||
is 33.
C'mon, forum.
The problem with formatting is definitely a product of the template we're using. (You can actually switch to the default style via 'forum settings' and see formatting intact.) I'm waiting to hear from the man who made the template.

I didn't realize there was more than one style, but ours is *much* prettier. 🌷 (Seriously - it's beautiful.)

It's true the original style is remarkably... well... blue. Less buggy, however.

"The 'thanks' button delivers a large yellow flower. "

I see no 'thanks' button only a 'like' so is it the case the 'like' is meant to be the 'thanks' ? To me they are 2 different sentiments, I don't always thank things I like or like things I thank. I don't really mind I just wanted to check there was no 'thanks' button I hadn't seen ?

We have managed to cross posts despite the forum's best efforts, by posting in different threads. Tap on/ mouseover the 'like' button to see all the other options.

When Luis said 'what flower ?' like me he could see no flower it just looks like a yellow button it's so small. Not that it matters at all, I'm sure you are very tired.

Just tried to use the Exploring Divination Forum, just so as to know how the new formatting works, so bought up a random post, just to try and see what was possible, with the intention of simply cancelling the post at the end.
But couldnt find a way to just post a reply without bring up all the previous content of that particular post, for example if one didnt want to respond to the particular poster comments and didnt want to include all the stuff from Hilary, obviously one could just delete it, but is there a simpler way, couldnt find a way of simply cancelling the response, if I had changes my mind about posting at all, and couldnt find a way of using the new software that has been referred to, in order to insert Hexagrams. How does one insert Chinese characters.

Does anyone know how to "reply" without bringing up the "quote" contents.

Does anyone know how to "cancel" a reply.

How does one insert Hexagram characters.

How does one insert Chineses characters.

Thanks in advance for any help.

Looking good apart from the technicalities. And certainly loads the pages a lot faster than before.

Dave
