How to deal with 50.4>18 digs from Mum 52>15

Mother is visiting and has started making strangely disturbing comments about my home. I asked Yi what was motivating her insidious words and cast 50.4 which I take to mean that my place is in a mess and it's because I have not kept it in order. So I asked how should I resist these attacks and threw 52>15, which I take to mean stay in the centre like Vipasana and be honourable and quiet. Don't actively resist or defend or strive to do anything, but keep still within myself. What do you think?

50.4 - 18 : it's a shame that your mom makes derogatory remarks because it hurts everyone, you and her... 18 a reflection of the bad mood she has in her and that creates a bad atmosphere between the two of you.

52.6 - 15 : yes VIPASSANA OM ! Keep calm for your well-being, it's the "Immobile, Fortune" advice

I agree that 52.5-15 could be advising that the way to resist these attacks is to keep still - and not just biting your tongue but “great hearted keeping still” as in having a compassionate attitude as you resist engaging. I do wonder though if your place really is the mess your mom says it is, maybe you shouldn’t even be trying to resist her comments. Maybe ask the IC “What if I organize my home to Mom’s satisfaction?”
