I have histamine intolerance that, in my case causes persistent skin rash which turns into brown spots overtime and takes months if not a year to fade. Meds that worked well in the past don’t work for me anymore.
I asked IC how to cure this skin rash and got 25u. Does it say not to do anything?? Or - not to eat anything in my case? strict diet is prescribed for this condition, but I’m already gf, veg and eat all organic. Theres nothing really to cut but to fast completely.

What else could 25u mean here?

Not an expert, nor am I a doctor, I am sorry if I am of not so much help here. But I am very interested in learning more about the hexagram 25, in this case unchanging, especially related to health, its a fitting hexagram. Do you ingest any fermented food or drinks like beer? Are you living under stressful conditions? Are you being "naive" towards certain things healthwise? Just trying to understand your situation a little better. You are welcome to share if you want to. Thank you.

Hi Liolik
In TCM skin disorders are seen as the result of the body being unable to eliminate toxins completely. It seems you are doing all you can with respect to diet however there is a toxicity still remaining. Perhaps a more holistic perspective would assist you.

Histamine intolerance is a tricky varmint as I'm sure your western medicine GP has explained better than I can. Your condition, like other autoimmune irregularities, though, does sound as though it is hanging in there tenaciously and is not letting go of you..... or maybe you are not letting go of something that is keeping it close to you. So perhaps a holistic approach beyond just diet would help you free yourself from its clutches.

25 'Without Falsehood' speaks to the benefits of being true to yourself as "if one's intention is not truthful, there is trouble" (Huang).
Themes held within 25 speak of troubles that originate from the outside world, from which you need to disentangle yourself. This is best done in a gradual way where Yi advocates you set out to emulate the ancient king who 'enriches his virtue in harmony with the time, and nurtures the myriad beings'.

The direction where you perhaps need to be heading now is guided by the nuclear 53 which holds an essence of slow transformation open for you. Imagine living in and surrounded by an environment that is more loving, caring, or compassionate and less filled with the baser vulgarities that people and associated memories bring.

Perhaps this is the advantageous direction that 25 is signposting for you. Towards a life better and more completely based in honesty and virtue.

... or this interpretation may have other meanings for you or not resonate with you at all.

Good Luck

Is it possible just to ignore it? That's often what 25 means - don't get entangled in this. Disentangle and disengage.

But obviously I don't know if that's possible. I don't know what the symptoms are and what problems it causes you.

Clearly you have to eat, though.

@Liselle It is possible to ignore. I’ll just be covered in brown spots for some time 😢. Tripled my meds (only herbal) which reduced inflammation a bit. Maybe I’ll just do this one thing and forget about all other meds/ointments..
@my_key nuclear 53 does resonate, not as a direction but as a description of my lifestyle since I left ashram.
@Benthos im already following all necessary dietary restrictions for this condition.

Update: I bought very similar OTC meds to the ones that didn’t work before, I was on pills for 2 months and spots stop appearing after month. I can have decaf coffe again and some pickled stuff and I don’t have any skin reactions.
I’m still confused about 25uc!

I wonder if 25 was recommending some sort of detox regime?
Btw, have you looked into red-light therapy? That’s where you get this red light thing that shines intense red light onto the targeted parts of your body. It reportedly heals brown spots.

Like IPL? I’ve been having that on my face, it’s amazing!! But for my affected body area the cost is $$$$$… brown spots are fading actually pretty fast. I mix vit C powder into a body lotion, it works too, just slower.

And, yes I’ve been taking quercetin/bromelain, soy isoflavons, resveratrol and mushrooms blend for years.
As I’m thinking more about that, caffeine could’ve been a major trigger because after I bought nespresso machine, my coffee intake doubled at least. I reduced and then stopped drinking coffee when a lot of red spots starting to appear. I’m drinking only decaf now. That’s the only thing that changed really.
