I might already be doing this wrong

Hi there,

I don't have much experience with this and thought it would be best to consult with people who do given the importance of the questions I've been asking.
I've been living with a woman (whom I still love) for four years now (we were dating one year before that). It has been rocky since the start (I won't bore you with the details) and recently I've been unsure if I can continue. I asked: "what would happen if I broke up with her?" (is that a bad question?) and got 13.6 to 49 but the Hidden Possibility Hexagram was 44 which a lot of people have some...shall we say "mixed feelings" about.

Later I asked what would happen if I decided to continue to tough it out and got 54.1.5 to 47.

I'm unsure as the first reading seems somewhat positive but the second seems to be more a description of my situation.

Am I misinterpreting?

Let me rephrase that: How badly and I misinterpreting?

Hi back, as I understood it, it was an way of consulting the oracle in old times-asking what if something is done and what if it isn`t....so there is nothing wrong with formulating your questions,
I think.
If you break up 13.6<49
it will be a complete change of the relationship and connection will turn into loose contact, she will be a part of your outside circle, IMO.
If you stick 54.1,5<47
Your position will not be of the one in charge. you will have to adopt to the role of the one who is finding ways to meet her demands and wishes, be patient and tactful. You may have chrises but it looks it will pay in the end if you care to stick this phase out.
Just my view of the cast, of course.
