Inner truth of moving? 4.2.5>20

A little background to the question - I am living in IL, coming back here to live after living in AZ for 11yrs. (been back for 1 1/2 yrs). Things from job to relationships, etc just hasn't seem to "click" for me being back here (I will feel down a lot - questioning my job, purpose, etc) . There is a part of me that is missing AZ very much - friends are there, my daughter is there ... but also aware of the part of me that defaults into "escaping" sometimes - ie, grass is greener.

The answer from my question 4.2.5. > 20 (What would be the inner truth of seeling my home (now or soon) and moving back to AZ?) seems to be positive, but I get the sense that there is something more to learn or "get". I would appreciate all feedback and if someone had any ideas of a question(s) to ask for further clarity - I would welcome that.

This suggests that you be more tolerant and understanding of the people where you now live, you say it has been hard to connect with them but you are judging them by your standards and what you want, it suggests that you need to take charge and integrate yourself with the locals, there is great potential here. You need to be sincere and open and willing to go to them for help and advice, there is a lot to learn here.

Hex 20 is about contemplating the situation before making up your mind definitely, you are not seeing the bigger picture as you are letting your emotions cloud your judgement, you need to see the situation clearly, there are a lot of opportunities that you have not seen yet, you need to see things from your neighbours point of view and not yours, obviously you have not seen the good yet.

So, this is saying stay still and think carefully because you are not seeing the whole picture, it would appear that you want your neighbours to change the way they act to suit you but you need to change your ways to suit them and then you can integrate with them and no longer be the outsider.

Elzabeth, I dont see that response as one which tells you to stay put.....the way you phrased the question was to ask about going back to arizona....i think that would be a lucky and pure opportunity. 20 says take the overview....why be unhappy? not at this point in your life. presuming you already have a grown daughter, why waste time being far away from those you love? what have you got to prove by staying in illinois where after almost two years, nothing has "clicked"?

4 is about learning in a context of inexperience. Both 4.2 and 4.5 are about how useful the inexperience is for you right now - it's a good thing to be learning something new. 20 is about observing the situation carefully, but not doing anything about it. Applied to your situation now, the Yi seems to be saying something like: "In your present situation, you're inexperienced and learning right now, and that's a good thing - don't act just yet, but continue to keep your eyes open."

It seems like the Yi's saying that you haven't given the situation enough time, you haven't learned enough yet, you have to keep your eyes open and watch things unfold for a while longer before you make a move.
