Is this saying return to myself and then to peace or return as in yes to us together and then to peace?

How can I nurture this renewed contact so that it blossoms?
51.2 --> 54

Line 2 says not to pursue what's been lost for i will acquire it again, does this refer to something with him or someone else? And how does 54 apply?

I took your question a bit different, as in:
Will I get together with X? (this puts you in the foreground as the questioner).

24 shows a return after some kind of impasse (23), either internal or with x. The hexagram suggests doing things in a timely and orderly manner (quietly) to get to the essence of things.
1 shows your proper return from 23, a phase left behind without regret.
2 shows your proper return as a delight, resonating well with a good friend (1).
11 shows that by doing the right things at the right time good fortune will prevail.

Your second question pretty much asks the same in different words, so it may be hard to explain the answer in the light of the first explanation. If need be, I would use the answer of 24 as a base for further questioning.
