I started a new job last week and it went sour very quickly.
It's the first job I've had for a couple of years so I'm not very impressed.
On an online forum, relative to the industry, I was chatting about the situation with others in the industry and I got offered an interview with another organisation not far from where I'm house sitting at the moment.
Naturally I am hesitant about bothering so I have asked - what is the value in me going for the interview
Hexagram 40.2.4<2
If I release my judgement and persist in looking for a job line 2......I will find the right people to work with that I can trust line 4

The value in going for the interview is based in a wider context of expansion and openness (2) for you. Attending the interview speaks to the way you are walking in the world. 40.2 indicates this way is on the path you need to walk. The value is that it'll unplug your big toe from wherever it is currently inserted and take you more in the direction of where you need to be heading (40.4).

Remember 40 advocates that actions are best focused on forgiving excesses and pardoning offences.

...or it might mean nothing like this for you.

Good Luck

I decided against going for the interview. It didn't feel like the right path to take but I'm not sure of my new direction yet.

In Novembet last year I decided to return to this area for the 3rd time in 2022.

I had a 3 month housesit so decided to work the Summer months whilst I was here and perhaps stay longer if it worked out. The job took so long to start, when they rang me to do the induction, they asked if I was still interested in the job!
I said yes, did the induction but 3 shifts into the job it was obvious I was in yet another toxic environment so I pulled out.

One if the reasons I wanted to try and settle in this area was because I'd become, what I thought, was good friends with a woman I'd met over 2 years ago. That friendship came to quite a sudden deterioration within weeks of being back.

It hasn't all been bad but at this point it's not looking great here either.

'Forgiving excesses and pardoning offenses'.....I can see where that could fit but both the job and friendship weren't having positive impacts on me.

I wrote the above outcome this morning.
It's now late afternoon and I've had a phone call from the area manager from the job I walked away from.
The outcome of the phone call sounds like Line 4.....
