Hello Yi Jing lovers,

after three weeks of Sailor missing from home (see https://www.onlineclarity.co.uk/friends/showthread.php?25384-About-a-missing-cat&highlight=) yesterday I notice a change in my energy. After several hours of a kind of frenzy I felt all of a sudden empty, as if a fever had left my body, and this question surfaced in me: "is Sailor actually alive?"
I justified what I felt saying to myself that I had depleted all the nervous energy at my disposal in the constant concern about Sailor, in the looking for him, in the not knowing where to look for him, in the not knowing what is going on with him, in the not knowing what should I be doing. Oh, not that I didn't ask all of these to the Yi Jing; I did ask, but being so strung up I did not understand a single answer.

So, humbly, sincerely and filled with the willingness to listen, I asked the Yi:
Please, give me an image of Sailor's physical condition. 49.1.2 > 28
Well, Metamorphosis... Isn't death a metamorphosis?
So, with a 28 untenable situation as a background, being weakened, being hungry, being cold, maybe wounded, 9.1 shows somebody unable to take any action and 6.2 that change will come when he's ready for it. They could be hinting at leaving the body, but I could also read it as he's stopping and waiting to replenish his energy in readiness to move forward.

Today after my morning sitting, not knowing whether waiting at home for him to appear in the garden or going around (but where else???) looking for him, I asked: How should I respond to Sailor's actual situation? 54.4 > 19, which basically says practice as much patience as you can. But this means that I cannot consider Sailor dead... it wouldn't make any sense otherwise, wouldn't it?

So, I turn to you for help in understanding what's going on with Sailor.

Hi emiliana

Please, give me an image of Sailor's physical condition. 49.1.2 > 28

I wouldn't read this as Sailor being dead. More like a temporary restriction (either by illness or by being captured) which Sailor could overcome eventually.

Could it be that Sailor is being hold by either an official or a vet? Have you try those options for your search?

Wish you and Sailor all the best

Hi Sixth Relative!
Thank you so much for your replay. :bows: Yes, all the vets and the cat shelters have been alerted via email and they have Sailor's photo and my phone number. Some days ago I got the image of a wounded front right paw. I discarded it as a projection of my own fears but maybe he really hurt himself... I wish I knew where he is, go out and bring him home!

Hello again!
I heard from the Animal communicator. She says that she had a difficult time connecting with Sailor because he's on his last lag. Due to malnutrition he's too weak even to communicate and, according to her, he'll be gone soon.
Now, I don't believe that.
According to me no cat dies of starvation after eating too little for three weeks only. Sailor's a hunter and as long as there's nature around him he'll be eating (so sorry for the little sparrows...).
But now I'm still more confuse about how to direct my feelings.

Can anybody shed some light for me?

Very sorry to hear that, the situation reads bad, but somehow this reading is not inauspicious.
Of course it could well be that the result mirrors your own situation, your inner feelings and your attitude rather than the circumstances of your cat.

But if I believe that Yi really refers to the conditions of your cat, then I would say, according to the first result, that he is saving strength in order to change his situation, but is not ready yet.
I think the second result hexagram 54 reflects the (your?) feeling of helplessness and being subject to fate here. Line four is speaking of a late marriage that will come at its time. I wouldn't say that you shouldn't do everything that is reasonable to get your cat back. I would do that as well. But as you already said, you also have to accept that its now definitely the time for being patient. Yi is saying that everything will be okay at its time. I think if I would receive this line in such a situation, then I would be hopeful that the cat comes back.

Sometimes people find a lost or wounded cat and like them so much, that they don't really search for the owner, but keep them. That could also be a possibility.
Good luck...

Hi Emiliana

excuse the impertinence, but I am not sure I would believe someone that says that they can communicate with animals. Especially if the animal is not there :mischief:

About the castings, I too tend to think you will find him.
If not, no need to believe him dead. My aunt has such a beautiful house with garden that cats have often elected it as their new home over the years. Especially when they see no other cat is around, and the old lady is by herself
If he doesn t show up, just imagine him being spoilt by a solitary old lady and you will smile inside you, thinking that you have had the company of an adventurous cat!
After all, they are not dogs and would never come crying to your gravestone should you die - it s a fact ;)

Well if it is true then it s an exception
All the cats I met in my life very quickly get attached to someone else.

Hey Olga, I understand the suspiciousness toward the animal communication, but when done by talented people (I don't know yet how talented is the one I connected with) is a great tool. You should know that Queen Elizabeth uses one (Amelia Kinkade) for her horses, and what to say about Anna Breytenbach, maybe one of the most amazing animal communicator there is.
I got Sailor when he was 4 years old, when my sister fell ill and had to go to a nursing home. It took more then a year before Sailor came to sleep on my bed, so definitely not all cats are lumped together.
And I will never smile at the thought of him living with a solitary old lady, I just don't manage...
Two weeks ago the communicator told me that Sailor said he wants to come back home, to me and his friend (the other cat that the communicator didn't know existed). So if he didn't manage and died trying makes me crazy with pain because I was unable to locate him, help him, be there for him.
I hope from the bottom of my heart that he's alive and on his way home.

Hello equinox,
thank you for taking the time to answer my post :bows:
I hope things are according to your interpretation, and that he's resting and recuperating. It's very comforting to read that in time everything will be ok.
I'd love to come back to the forum with the news of Sailor happily sleeping on his blanket!

Thank you for the good luck!

Hi Emiliana.
I'm following your posts about Sailor and praying you will find him soon and healthy.

I remember a book my cat's vet gave me once when Nelson disappeared for some days. It is about a cat that disappears twice and comes back home. Hope you find it reassuring and fun.

Also wanted to tell you that I had very good experiences with animal communication with Carol Gourney and Cynthia Seagal.
