I left my business in the hands of my friend while I was away. Oneday I received a strange message that money had to be paid out to people that I did not know and the exact reason was not clear either. Therefore, I asked the question "Is my friend cheating/stealing from me?" The answer I received was Hex 35 lines 1,2,4 > Hex 41.

Hex 35.1 means to me that I was being held back.
line 2 suggests that I was being fearful.
But line 4 says that as I prosper, thieves will come and steal.

Hex 41 means decrease, to make a sacrifice.

Does this indeed mean that I was being robbed?

Willowfox-
I can't make anything out of this reply. It might be more helpful to ask something that's not a yes/no question... (though there are folks here who know how to interpret such, I think?)

How about: "What do I need to know about this message?"

Hi Willowfox,

Just wondering if the yi is advising you of handling this and how to progress should you decide to take this issue to your friend?

(From Wilhelm)
Line 1:
'If one meets with no confidence, one should remain calm'
Maybe talking about the lack of clarity in what this money was for?

Line 2:
'Progressing, but in sorrow'
It's never nice to suspect that a friend might be cheating you but maybe advice that you should follow it through and talk to your friend about it?

Line 4:
'Progress like a hamster
persaverance brings danger'
Maybe advice to keep it quite small and low key questioning? And not to go full steam ahead on the accusation front?

I think that relates to 41 as well - decrease on the 'instinct' to jump in with full on questioning and 'control your anger' - keep calm as in line 1.

Hope it turns out to be a misunderstanding and you keep your friendship
love
Nicky

Hi

From mathematical method..seems like he/she is doing it. But the date (month, day and hour ) is needed to conclusion.

Best wishes

H35 Act justly and humbly in order to succeed.
(1) Simply continue in what is right, remain calm and cheerful and refuse to be roused to anger.
(2) Making peace but keeping one's defenses up leads to success.
(4) Progress attracts thieves.
H41 lessen, make smaller

Do not confront, do not put yourself in the same situation again, be aware of danger and lessen yourself as a target.

A better question to ask may be should you trust this person?
