Job application- 40.1.5.6>10 ?

Hello, some permanent positions have been advertised where I work - I'm currently on a temporary contract, and wasn't sure if I'd be considered experienced enough for the promotion and I haven't been there very long. I asked yi if I should apply - 40.1.5.6 > 10. I haven't had this cast before but previously have drawn 40.1.3.6 > 14 for similar questions about jobs or projects that in the end I wasn't suited for (exactly as line 3 suggests) and which didn't come to fruition. The switch to line5 here seems more auspicious but I feel I must play it very carefully. Is there anything I'm missing here, that anyone else can see?

Totally agree with you that you'll need to be very careful.

I believe you do have chances to get one of those positions (40.1, 40.5). However, line 40.6 shows that a vulture higher up (probably meaning yet another useless manager) feels/will feel threatened by you. And 10, apart from steps, also shows a dangerous situation where we need to tread on eggshells. My gut feeling is that when writing the applications, you'd need to play down your abilities and expertise, so as to avoid the above. An even better idea would be to ask something like "in what style/manner should I write this application?".

Thanks diamanda, that's food for thought. I think you're right, I need to be careful not to overshoot the mark - so to speak.

To add to this, I followed Diamanda's suggestion to ask in what manner I should approach the application: 15.1.3.6>27. Modesty and humbleness, taking care not to overshoot the mark (I think indicated again by line 6?). I'm not so sure how to interpret 27 although 'paying attention to what is in your mouth' could apply to speech as well as nourishment, perhaps?

I've also just twigged that 15 is the nuclear hex to 40... (I think.)

yes, I think that 27 points to apply modesty also and specially to the spoken word. In my readings often the appearance of 27 as the transformed hex referred to being able to earn a salary, the means of putting food on the table and nourish oneself.
All in all your readings feels quite promising and I wouldn't be surprised if you get the job.
