Job hunting 22uc // 7.1-19

Hi everyone,

I am struggling with hex 22uc with regards to job hunting.
My husband gave his notice at his current job (still in notice period) and he is now looking for a new role.
I asked the oracle if he will start a new role before Dec 23 and the answer was 22uc.

I struggle to understand hex 22. Anyone has experience on reading and understanding it?

Because I didn’t understand the 22uc I asked again (sometimes I do this when I struggle to understand an answer) and I asked “will he receive an offer during the coming months in 2023? - the answer was 7.1-19

7 - I understand talks about multitude of people
7.1- from the book I use I got “the text offers a warning that at the very beginning of any situation caution and discipline should not be neglected.” Which makes total sense considering the situation he is in (looking for a new role)
19- again from the book I have “when many things have happened, there are opportunities for one to achieve greatness. It is not beneficial to wait - one should respond positively and immediately.
Lin implies occupying a height or a commanding position to lead, rule and control. // …suggesting a state where one is advancing, preparing oneself to be great, a leader. // …symbolising a leader who is guiding a group of people of multitude (7) moving forward, promoting or becoming great // represents the 12th Chinese lunar month = January-February// at the end of the 8th month (September) there will be misfortune and recession is not too long in coming …and a new cycle begins. // the omen changed from nothing being unfavourable to nothing being favourable. I know I am not great with hexagrams interpretation because but if I try to give a sense to 7.1-19 seems to me that maybe he receives an offer and he starts a new job in Jan/Feb 2024 but then misfortune comes around Sep/Oct 2024 and a new cycle begins?

How would you interpret it?

22 speaks to the outward display of things aligning more with the needs of the inner world. Starting with a blank piece of paper and writing the brightest story that you want to tell about the best person that you want to be in the future.

It might be a aligned with not so much thinking when his new role will start, more about him inhabiting a new role that allows him to be the most beautiful version of himself that he can be. You can't put dead lines on that!

... of course this cast might be telling another story for you.

If this was my reading I'd be interpreting it in a simple way rather than deep diving. Something like:

He will receive a number of offers in 2023. He is advised to remain level headed about all things and if he does so, overall there is no need to worry. At the same time though he can afford to wait for the right job opportunity to come along; it's on its way.

I agree that is a positive answer and gives confidence that he will receive an offer. However the “misfortune on the 8th month” leaves some uneasiness. And if go with the timeline seems that at the 8th Chinese month is Sep/Oct there is misfortune and a new cycle begins.
Have you come across 19 before? How did it work out? How can I see the “misfortune at 8th month”?

I keep reading and reading different sources and books, and if I leave the calendar months aside and I don’t actually go with a timeline, the interpretation of 19 could also be:
- there is a great fortune and everything goes well (“great success along with his correctness, advancing and growing - central and property responded to”) the offer is approaching closer and closer but not actually arriving (“8th month misfortune, recession is not too long in coming”)

This reminds me of hex 63 which says that: already fulfilled (makes you think that something is going to happen or there is a place for things to happen) but in the end not yet fulfilled (things do not actually happens or realised).

It makes me look at it as if a germogli is trying to make things growing and taking place. The situation is correct, the place is right for things to happen but in the end the plant is not growing and there is nothing to harvest; therefore nothing takes place and the final aim is not occurring and doesn’t happen.

Or in 19 the final aim actually takes place and things are happening (he gets an offer) but then in the 8th month things will revert and a new cycle begins-> perhaps hex 20 watching waiting and be still.

How anyone else thinks of this? What experience do you have with 7.1 and with 19?
Anyone sees the connection between 19 and 63 or 19-20?

What I understood from your description of the situation was that your husband is leaving his stable job and looking for a potentially better one(better in the broadest sense ).

-Apparently, he is showing an optimistic/realistic attitude about his ability to get a better job.

But you are worried about his decision and you seek Yi's help in the hope of gaining insight into the near future that will help you calm your anxiety.

- It seems to me that this is the context of your situation and that is why I see 22Un as Yi's reference to your state of anxiety:

"Why are you so opressed with this constant stress about your future and not simply opening yourself up to the beauty of this new possibility for your husband (and yourself) by accepting the situation as it is?"

... it seems to me that this is the help Yi is offering you.

I see… it makes more sense from that angle.
Maybe he will have a period of freedom and therefore the answer to my question would be NO he will not find a job in 2023.

And now probably I can understand better the second answer 7.1-19
So we established that he will enjoy life for the remaining 2023 and 7.1-19 probably means that 7.1 highlights that his situation on finding a job requires disciple and perseverance. 19 approaching but not really manifesting?
Or approaching in Jan/Feb 24 and then misfortune 8th month Sep/Oct 24.
