In the Aha thread I explain the budding relationship (budding slowly). I do have a question about it that I can't so easily interpret.

The first two times we kissed I didn't feel much despite the fact that I find him physically attractive. I spoke with my girlfriends about this and we are all of the opinion that the heavy sexual turbulence I have experienced with the other man (everyone here knows who I mean he's been a theme of mine on Clarity since the beginning) is blocking me.

I just can't bounce from passionate experiences with one man to something new with a new man..I need time.

Still..it worried me but I think that there is something about him that I want to give time to..to let things slowly develop and see if, sexual chemistry develops.

OK, I will give a shot of interpretation first as I read somewhere that we are supposed to at least try to do so before asking for help.

I read somewhere here that 52 very often is referring to sexuality and sexual energy. So..hmm..ok I can see where that fits. "Keeping his jaw still"..does somehow refer to kissing?? I know that normally it refers to "words and talking".

Line 6 seems positive in it's use of the expression "noble-hearted". The related hexagram strikes me as the background of the kissing situation. I am mentally obstructed due to heart break and a lack of trust etc..

Does anyone else see any encouraging details in the answer though?

I was hoping for a "hey, Chica..don't sweat it, just take your time and one day he will kiss you and you will melt".

I think you have done a good job here..........

You didn't feel much when you kissed because this is a time of recuperation for you. Your inner and outer self need to be still. Don't rush this relationship - be careful about how you approach it and what you say and think. Remember all relationships are give and take and are very rarely a bed of roses. Mills and Boon have a lot to answer for
There are a few thngs you have to sort out, with him and with you before this relationship can go forward as you would like.

1 The kiss with him was characterized by stillness and limping. In other words, nothing happened and it was lame.

2 Things aren't moving now between you because of all the factors you mentioned; that's why advanced is so hampered.

52 doesn't refer to sexuality, at least no more than the other 63 hexagrams. 2 mountains don't give much of a picture of sexual frisson lol

52.3 images somebody trying to still sexual energy, and the outcome is negative. It uses the image of sexual energy as a symbol - it's not limited to sexuality.
