Learning life lessons: 63 unchanging

Hi everyone,
I am a new comer in the community and I am asking for your indulgence for the lack of eloquence of my english.

For the question background, I recently was asking for insights about how to handle my life that is in a phase of total "destruction"; I am learning to be myself after many years of trying to do the "right thing", which has left me with failure and a deep grief.
But today I was a bit angry at all those anwers about waiting and temperance, which what I was doing all my life.. so I asked IC " what does the universe need me to know about my intelligence" and got 63uc.

My first impression is that I have no reason to blame my intelligence. But I am afraid the true meaning is that my way of thinking is not open to change, which is actually the opposite of intelligence.

I would be grateful to have some help for this reading.

I’m not clear what you are trying to find out with this question but here is what the Image for 63 says.
”The noble one reflects on the past in order to prepare for the future.” So perhaps you can get some insight by plugging in the word intelligence as in..
”Your intelligence enables you to reflect on the past in order for you to prepare for the future.”

I try to reflect on the past but I can't see anything that could change my perception. So I assume I must be really stupid (this is why I asked).
Some days ago I asked if I am good at my job (even though I failed at my business), the answer was: 38.3 (38/2.3.4) changing to 22

H63 is the hexagram of perfect balance. (Every line is in the right position and all lines have resonance with each other). But perfect balance always lasts only for a moment. Only something has to happen and the the balance is gone. Hence the text of the Image says:
"Thus the superior man takes thought of misfortune and arms himself against it in advance." R. Wilhelm

I do not believe then that there is anything wrong with your intelligence at all, but that you are being advised here to guard yourself against the "negative" thoughts that disturb your inner balance.

H38 is the hexagram of becoming or remaining autonomous, of being independent. The text of the Image says, "Thus amid all fellowship the superior man retains his individuality."

38.2 an unexpected or unpleasant encounter, you can't avoid someone or something, but in the end it's all not too bad.
38.3 here everything seems to go wrong, everything you undertake leads to difficulties rather than good results. Doing nothing and waiting is best right now.
38.4 you are on your own, but things will get better from now on.
The moving lines in H38 combine to form the trigram Fire that turns into Water. This indicates that you are too attached to something and now need to let go. This may be your own vision, ideas, emotions, etc. But it could also be that you are too passionate, too strong in wanting to bring out your vision and opinion. Fact is that you need to let go of this now in order to move forward.

H22 shows something similar. Fire below and Mountain above. The (inner) Fire is shielded by Mountain. The vision, passion is limited.

This would be my interpretation.

H63uc giving way to life perfection, accepting change
It is the inner fire or my singular individuality that I am obstructing by my continual doubt. A doubt that is hidden behind the illusion of an altruism or a benevolence for a common good (ego worst face); In reality it is a lack of confidence born from my ignorance of my true self and its limits to others.

The illusion is that I can force things, and I am clinging to it because I am still confused about the Self (God, source, life) and the ego (the need to prove my worthiness). If I was sure about who I am I wouldn't employ all this energy (passion) and I could see my gifts as the true benevolence ; I would just be me!

Now that I know a little more about the background of the question in your first post, all sorts of layers come up in your answer.
H38 Opposition, as indicated earlier, is about individuality and thus indirectly about polarity and different points of view: Self and ego.
So the change from Fire to Water reflected in the hexagram by the moving lines, may be about being too attached to wrong ideas about yourself and letting go of them.
The result is H22: the inner light and energy (Fire) visible on the outside (Mountain). If you want to take the latter to a higher level: the Self expressing itself through the physical body (Mountain).
As I see it, letting go of incorrect thoughts about oneself is enough, H22 shows that the "correct" thoughts naturally emerge.
Interestingly, H63 is the core hexagram of H38. So here again "giving way to life's perfection, accepting change" as you point out, emerges.

Hi,
I am here to bring good news; it won't be surprising to know the last casting was talking about water over water !
I asked if I am in the right track and got 29uc. I feel it like all "pretended" obstacles are being removed from the course of water, now it will flow with full strenght.
Although it may seem dangerous, I have faith it is the best thing that could happen to clean all these old stagnant energy.
"Danger is evil or unfortunate only if one is intimidated by it"
I see more clearly about the readings that adviced me to meditate, because it was a call for letting go of old habits of thoughts that prevented me from experiencing the easy flow of life.
