Hi again, Ok This is my situation...The last couple of years I have been very discouraged and disappointed with my relationships, family and partners so I decided to cut myself off from everyone. I even got rid of friends from childhood that I had for 20 years. I've alienated myself from everyone because they were not making me happy anymore. I was not going anywhere with these people. I had outgrown them.

I'm at a point in my life where I want to start making the right decisions. I want to make positive changes in my life, career and relationships. I've been having alot of problems and obstacles in those areas in the past. I want to start meeting people who share same interests and values as me. I want a rewarding new career. I want to meet a man on the same wavelength as me to share my life with. I want a more rewarding life path. I have the strength to do this but I have been having alot of set backs for some reason.

So I asked this question.

What should I focus on at this point on my life?

Hexagram 13 line3 and line 4 changes into Hexagram 42

The need for a change

we all feel the need for a change in our lives. I think that it is something very healthy when we sense that the time to make a change has come. Our interests may turn from one life situation to other(s). Sometimes the problem is not with the other people around us. I have read the interpretation at Lise Heyboer´s site. The hexagram 13,3,4>42 suggests that in order to unite yourself with the right people you need to strengthen your character first.

Here is Lise´s interpretation:
9 at 3: Hiding away arms in the thickets. Ascending a high mound. Three years not rising (up again).
Too much self-defense is counterproductive. Try to find the right size of trust and mistrust. Neither extreme is healthy, when you manage to walk a self-confident road, you will be at ease with people and with this world.
9 at 4: War-chariots against a rampart. Not able to attack. Auspicious.
Create strong boundaries and clear ethics for yourself, which cannot be shattered. They are just as essential for good contacts as the ability to be open. You decide yourself when to give your riches to others but you should never let them be taken.

When you deal with people are you sometimes really defensive? Hard to reach? Not communicative enough or simply not open enough? Maybe a bit aloof? I think your reading is saying: deal with these areas and your life will change for the better.

Hi Persephone,
I was like that with the people I wanted out of my life. I have no tolerance for ignorant people or users. I'm a very generous and kindhearted person and easily taken advantage of. I don't want people like that in my life anymore and for some reason lately I was attracting those types. If you know anythinhg about Chinese astrology I'm the water rabbit. Can't get more humble than a water rabbit

This reading has put everything in perspective EVERYTHING! I keep reading it everyday as a meditation reminder!

What do you mean by the word "doors" - in ancient Greek doors in an oracle reading meant an opening from the universe which makes it smoother and easier to move forward. There is a specific time frame to these openings or "doors" from the universe. There are some Orthodox priests who know the exact time frame of these "openings" from the universe where there is a high surge of energy and people use those times for healing and meditation.
