Hi!

I wanted to ask what would occur if I decide to go for a software development position this year. I currently work in IT but I've been learning as much code and scripting as I can to leap out of my helpdesk position and I already had development 3 different projects I made. I asked 2 questions.

I asked, what is the likelyhood of me getting a junior software position this year: 51.5>17

The second question was,

What would occur if I were to work towards becoming a developer this year and I got 19.1.2.5>8

I actually had the same answer as the time I asked how will my career progress so far. So that's interesting. I know I still have tons of work to do for this project idea. but I'm finding myself burning out of my current position and want the freedom to learn more about technology which my current role feels limiting and I'm not sure it's because I'm a woman in tech or that's just the way the cookie crumbles for a lot of people. Now neither have I yet started to apply to jobs because I'm still waiting for my bonus stocks to vest before leaving. So instead I'm preparing as much as I can.

Hello,
I think 51.5 – 17 is great : you'll find a junior software job and that job will be a great collaboration. I don't know if it will be this year but both lines are very positive (fan yao 17.5)
