Lost my keys 48.1.5

Can anybody help ? I lost my keys, I have searched everywhere but can't find them So finally I asked the IChing "where are my keys " and got 48.1.5 I haven't dropped them in a well. ..that's for sure But what does it mean than ?

I think you have definitely dropped them somewhere (from the height of .5 to the ground level of .1), probably in the mud/dirt [.1](garden?) or somewhere near water [.5].

48.1 → 5.5 [Legge: Shows its subject waiting amidst the appliances of a feast], maybe in the kitchen?
Trash bin? Somewhere near vegetable storage area/containers (cellar?).
.1 points to something old and abandoned.

Joey Yap's Plum Blossom Divination says:

48.1 ~ "For better luck, try finding the missing item near a stove, altar, broken object or door."

48.5 ~ "It will be best to try searching for it in places with water and fire."

I'm with ashteroid ~ Water over Wind/Wood changing to Earth over Heaven does sound gardening related ~ keys in dirt/under towel near water and plants.

They could also still be in the lock on the outside of the wooden door, too...I've done that.

That's what I thought that I had left them in the door But than somebody must have removed them and how do I know that?

No that's not possible because nobody entered the house and also there is the hexagram Peace So I think they're still where I lost them I just searched by the water and by the dustbins around the house but nothing.. I picked somebody up I have to search there Maybe by openi g the door they fell out

Possibly in laundry...believe it, or not, metal keys inside an earthy purse would qualify, too...

If you find yourself stumped and out of ideas, then try sitting as still and Peace-fully as you can in your house...letting your mind open and relaxing your breathing...and then softly think of your keys, listen for your keys.

I think they are just out of reach, perhaps deep in a pocket or lining of a bag. Reason I say that is 48 speaks of the problem being the rope is too short or the bucket leaky.

I think they dropped through a lining of a bag or jacket so I suggest you reach down into things rather than look at eye level or above.

11 is better called 'flow' than peace since 11 is not especially peaceful. It's movement, flow and energy so I think perhaps when you were especially caught up in something interesting or creative you let them slip into somewhere you now can't access. Also 48.1 suggests somewhere you don't really ever think to go like down sides of sofas, dead places, the inner linings of jackets, bags and so on.

I do not usually answer these kinds of queries it's just that idea leapt out at me. I may be wrong.

Trojina's comment on Flow made me recall a part of Joey Yap's comment for line 5, which I didn't quote earlier:

"One will have to employ speed and efficiency, as if one does not begin the search immediately one is unlikely to find the item. Even after one finds it, however, one must be prepared for it to have suffered some form of damage."

I didn't quote it earlier because it didn't seem to apply ~ the keys are presumably in or near your house, so no real time pressure there...

...unless, the keys are just out of reach in the garbage, waiting to get picked up and taken away...

...or, something like that, so I thought I'd "throw that out" there.

Thank you Trojina and Radiofreewill I searched the garden but nothing I turned the car upside down ...nothing Anyway Trojina I will follow your advise now....I think in those places I haven't searched enough

Perhaps asking "What should I do to eventually connect me with the keys?" Maybe you'll get some answer that guides you to ...say.. fix a cup of coffee and while drinking it you remember...

I left the house, picked someone up, drove to the airport and flew half across the world, there
I stayed in a hotel

I asked

Did I loose the keys at home ? 59 u.c.

Did I loose the keys during my journey ? 33.4 > 53

Did I loose the keys in the foreign country in the hotel ? 8.1.6 > 42

I think around the house ??? 36.4.5 makes sense, there is even a well and gas meters, but I searched everywhere and cannot find them

Completely give up the search.

When you have replaced them or changed the locks then they are sure to show up (sigh).

Found the keys !!! This morning I found the keys in a leather bag in some hiddenplace of the bag, however I am sure they were not there before, how they got there I still have to find out. I did give up the search and see they turned up ! Well that's the most important thing isn't it... Thanks everybody for your help ! However this is a lesson that how important it is to ask a question ! Thanks Rosada !
