Love inquiry 53.3 -> 20

I was seeing this person, let’s call him X, for a few months until the relationship ended abruptly when he asked me for some space to think things through (I was unable to live with the uncertainty of it and ended it) and got back together with his ex (they broke up again since).

We go to the same yoga studio, and will continue to see each other almost every day for the classes. It was awkward at first, now we’re able to make friendly conversation. I guess after all the anger, there are some lingering feelings on my end, so I asked I Ching:

I received 53.3 ~> 20. I assumed the changing line is a precautionary one, that things should not be done quickly or with force. The first hexagram seems promising, but the second hexagram confuses me- does it mean that I need to see things from above, be aware of the wide perspective ? Does anyone have experience for this hexagram? Thank you !!

The hex 53 seems good, but the line 3 says the more you force the situation, the more you can push him away from you.
Line 3 and hexagram 20 ask for meditation to contemplate the path traveled so far.

Maybe it's literally. Perhaps you are seeing everything from a very optimistic perspective and some crucial detail for this relationship to work went unnoticed. Maybe he made you promises that cannot fulfill.

If it’s literally, it well describes our break-up before… I also have a habit of being an optimist generally.. I’ll have to meditate more to be on the clear. Thank you for your insight!!

Once your question is about the potential between you, I think the line 3 and hex 20 are exactly about this.
When it comes to love we are all optimists. It's the butterflies in stomach's fault lol
