Hi All,

I wonder if you can help me.
Today I asked the Yi Jing, "How can I learn to love myself?"
The answer was: 26.6>11
Is it as simple as it sounds? Can you help me to see further into this please.

Thank you,

Hope to speak to you soon.

I dare say this hex is suggesting that you already do? Basically, hold your own in all circumstances. Honoring your wishes and what is right for you, despite what other people may say, think or expect of you, now that is true self love.

(Self) love and light to you,
K

Something has definitely shifted...

Thankyou kkappa,

You know... I feel so... And I think this is something relatively new to me too :)
However, I definitely felt a shift, even as I asked the question.
Thanks for your further advice too... Perfect advice, and right on time.

Love and Light from me to both of us!

I scratch my head, still, at the word 'love'. I find it the most illusive substance on the planet. Yet I know it when I feel it. Feelings are indicators of the recognition and identification with our reaction to another being; much the way wild male rabbits sniff and hop after female rabbits, except rabbits, while forming attachments, seem not even remotely concerned with emotions, and therefore give the impression that they know nothing of what we humans commonly call love. So it comes down to what one is calling "love".

Loving oneself can be narcissistic or sacred, depending upon which self is referred to.

11 has been discussed at length lately, elsewhere, but the notable thing here that I see is not only the power of the Creative, but the power of the Receptive is equally responsible. In other words, only by accepting yourself, being open to who you really are, can your life have any truth to it. And if a life doesn't have truth, what difference does it make what else they have?

I like to think of love in its verb form and in 26.6 you have a line with a verb, he walks heavens road, the way of heaven. To love yourself requires the same pace, routine and continuance as does walking. I love myself when I save the last hours of the night for quiet reflection so I get a good nights sleep, when I drink a green juice in the morning to give me much needed nutrients for the day, when I reach out to others in small or large acts of connectness and when I take a stand for myself and my worth against criticisms of others , or even those born from myself. Meet your needs and be fulfilled is loving yourself, or like Bradford says in his " fulfilling ourselves or our duties, fulfilment is freedom: it lets us move on."
