Please save me the search. Do I remember seeing something from you pairing the Trigrams with MBTI types? Did I ask you this question before? Sometimes I jump from subject to subject and lose track...

No problem. Note the "type.html" file is a rough mapping of the XOR material to the MBTI. A useful process is:

(a) use the Emotional IC to identify a person (same methods as identifying a situation)
(b) map the resulting hexagram through the IC to the MBTI
(c) use the IC+ XOR to extract details on that person and so predicting probable actions GIVEN the identification. If the context changes the person may change their response but in most cases we are taught to maintain one persona rather than 'shape shift'.

This issues are what are you identifying? - the singular nature or the particular nature (or some mix)? The emotional IC 'talks' more to emotions and so more to the particular BUT ask questions about self and emotions associated with self will come out - and so a singular perspective.

In the MBTI context, using the IC and emotions we can map out the particular emotion 'driving' the individual at any one time (or on a deep level, through life) - thus we can identify one's hexagram 'totem'.

It is actually a mix. I really have to study your material on MBTI and IC and see what I come up with. What I'm working on, a long term pet project, has nothing to do with divination but with characterization, hence the usefulness of your material. I will most likely have some questions later.
