So a friend has had an anniversary of a family member's long missing person's case. About 20 years. She was going home from an open mic one night and never showed at at her boyfriend's house, or at home with her kids (single parent.) They found her car accross the street with the guitar in a slightly ajar trunk.
At this point a very cold missing person's case, but her sister has made the issue much of her life's work.

So I asked the Yi, "Where is she?" And I got 38.1.5>6.
6 as context describes conflict. Huh. Pretty sure I asked "Where is she?" not "What happened?"
If she is long dead, where is the conflict? In her case being unsolved perhaps?
38.1 - "Legge: The first line, dynamic, shows that to its subject occasion for repentance will disappear. He has lost his horses, but let him not seek for them -- they will return of themselves. Should he meet with bad men, he will not err in communicating with them."
38.5 - "Legge: The fifth line, magnetic, shows that to its subject occasion for repentance will disappear. With her relative and minister she unites closely and readily as if she were biting through a piece of skin. When she goes forward with this help, what error can there be? "

I didn't want to dump another psychic reading on her, I am pretty sure she has had enough of that but she has a rough time for a couple days. So I just mentioned to her I did a reading, the context was conflict, and the line said don't chase after lost horses, they will return of their own accord. And that this could mean different things in terms of outcome, but the advice seems to be you can't control everything. This is I think actually the hardest thing for family members in such situations to do.
They have certainly talked to bad people trying to track down leads. And I didn't want to say too much, just be supportive.
But the reading sounds to me like she is either still alive and out there, or that the mystery will be solved before too long.

Oh my, how sad. I note that line one warns about bad people and line 5 mentions biting through wrappings. Kidnapped and bound? It leads to 6. Conflict - trying to escape? Interesting 38 refers to sisters and the sister has tried so hard to solve this. Sending prayers...
