Mom Out of Work: 21.4 to 27 and 21 uc

Even since my mom's surgery and the month-long recuperation, she hasn't been working since. She said that there is nothing to do. If there is work, it's for one or two days.

Hmm...Some sort of Obstacle to Nourishment? First I am wondering if your mom really is well enough to be working full time. Could the fact that she only seems to be able to find part time work be some sort of outer world manifestation of her inner world still needing rest? Or could it be that the kind of work she did in the past no longer nourishes her spirit? If she really is ready and willing to return to the old type of employment then I would agree these hexagrams seem to indicate a block that won't disappear quickly on it's own. She'll have to make a major effort but if she does it looks like she can be successful.

Rosada, I asked my dad and said it's likely the Jewish Rosh Hashanah is preventing stock to come in. She'll have to wait a little longer before her colleagues tell here to come work.

It occurs to me that 27. Nourishment could represent the work itself so 21 - 27 could mean Obstacle to Work. So I can see this as saying the problem could indeed be the holiday is being an the obstacle.
Also I said she would have to "make a major effort" but upon rereading the actual words of the line I note it ways "constancy in hardship" which would be advice to hang in there but not necessarily saying she would need to do anything. Thanks for the feedback!
