hello,
I ask for help to interpret the hexagrams that have come out consulting i-ching.
I asked if I can hope for a return to me of my girlfriend after she left me.

the hexagrams that have come out are the number 40 with changing line 5 and the second hexagram that has resulted is the number 47.

however, I did not understand much of what the book is trying to suggest!
can somebody of you help me, please?

thanks!

first hexagram is 40. line 5 change and second hexagram is 47

Can I hope for a return of my girlfriend?
40.5 > 47

Welcome to Clarity, Fletcher. I don't think you should expect a return anytime soon. Hexagram 40 (Release in Hatcher) does not suggest her coming back, and 47 (Oppression or Exhaustion) also does not support a return.

Line 5:
Six in the fifth place means:
If only the superior man can deliver himself,
It brings good fortune.
Thus he proves to inferior men that he is in earnest.

If you made changes in your life -- especially changes in your life style -- I think your ex-girlfriend would find you more attractive. I think she is attracted to persons who achieve and are a little flamboyant. Get your degree or promotion. Keep your residence, vehicle, and clothes in stylish good order. As she sees you change, her attitude toward you will change.

thanks for the reply!

I honestly do not know how to behave.
she and I met and we've been together for a month, then I'm off to work abroad for four months.

she initially told me that he would wait for my return, but the third month she changed her mind and now she do not even want to see me because he said he started a new relationship with another man.

what should I do? if I call her as well trying to be friendly, I do not think she could believe in this and would feel bothered by me ...

then the only solution that I thought would be more logical and
makes sense is to not call her and hope that this she will do her in the future

do you think this makes sense? is it right?

thanks!

Calling (voice) is hot (pressuring), while email is cooler. To keep channels open, why not send a note like "I like you and hope we can get back together in the future"? But I still think you need to make life style changes, and that will take time.
