I hope all of you are super jazzy. I asked the Yi:

What is the likelihood of achieving success with the project I'm working on? I got 2.4.6 to 35

What will be the result of the project I'm working on? 54 unchanging.

Normally, I would be jumping up and down with glee if I ended up with 35 as a changing hexagram, but with 2.4.6, I'm totally sobered. Those are really bad, ominous lines. And 54 unchanging doesn't seem too peachy either.

What are your thoughts?

Why would you think they are "really bad, ominous lines"?

Line 4: Don't be too intent to push forward otherwise you'll stifle the process. Let it flow and continue to be receptive.

Line 6: Why create conflict between the two polarities? Just relax and lessen the haste and emotional static.

This will more likely lead to (super jazzy) success of 35.

54 unchanging seems to illustrate your state of mind. Don't jump in with both feet. Let it emerge and see what happens. Don't be too quick to anticipate and jump to conclusions. This is pretty much what you've done with the interpretation of the lines....

Thank you so much for breaking this down for me! As always, you're so right! When I originally wrote this message, I was having a really bad day. So I was totally freaking out, caught up in negative emotions and INSISTENT on FORCING things to happen with this project. We've definitely got super tight deadlines, but honestly, the project can wait. It's the holiday season, I'm working with two Sagittarius folks, so it's their birthday month, and most likely, nothing's going to happen until January anyway.

So, I'm going to take your advice and just go with the flow. I'll work on my end of the project, step-by-step, and smooth out my work so that when we really start raging next month, the bases will be covered. I'm working with good, talented people, I just have to have faith that we'll pull it together.

CHILL!!!! The universe always makes things work out for the best.

And yeah, I always subconsciously believe that changing lines are PORTENTOUS, even though in reality the changing lines can represent the potential limitations of a negative mindset. Thank you for elucidating!

Thank you SO much for your insight! You're right, I need to stop zooming forward like a preternatural Japanese train and really just let the universe take me to my destination. I can't define it, and if I keep trying to force results I'll totally destroy a potentially good thing. I'm so on my way to hexa 35 and I'll just hitchhike to get there.
