oh no another love question 50.1.2.3

hello all, sorry to be another "oh i asked about love and now am confused" person.
but i really am and really appreciate insight by fellow iching users.

in short, i met someone whom i havent seen for a very long time. i find him hilarious, witty, kind and playful but also realistic and tbh a bit of a player. he seems to have been in several serious relationships and now just opts for less serious ones and always has a pretty girl next to him - yes it spells trouble and he seems to be interested in casual friendship only (but also cares about me way more than even my own family, for instance when i have some health issue of which i have many these days). maybe a mixed signals type of situation. i asked the michty i to make this situation a bit clearer and got the cauldron which is always super confusing for me - the whole is 50.1.2.3

is this something abou just starting a new phase of life for me probably without having a hope to get him?

50.1 Messy relationships in the past. Perhaps he's come to think of himself as not good partner potential?
50.2 He's happy playing the field now even if some folks - you - are envious of his other girlfriends but this doesn't bother him.
50.3 He'll probably be a good partner if he ever met the right girl...
