Outcome of getting the vaccine 26.5 > 9

I got an appointment today for my initial vaccine shot next week, and queried about the outcome of getting the vaccine. The response seemed so perfectly on target that I thought I'd share. From Karcher this is the line of "disabling a powerful opponent." Hilary talks about disarming the injuring force. Seems like a perfect description — the virus still exists, its nature unchanged, but its ability to harm is significantly less. And The Way is open.

Here in the US many of us will mark a year away from our offices and friends this week, a year of isolation, a year of loss. This affirmation of the vaccine's function seems positive.

Also 26, a hexagram I often find pretty obtuse, talks about "not eating at home." Getting out of the house — won't that be a nice change, at least after the patience cautioned in hex 9.

Sounds like a perfect response! I love it when one asks the Yi and receive not only an accurate and insightful reply, but a line or lines with specific details that are bang on target - “not eating at home”, yes, so many of us are looking forward to being able to go out to restaurants, cafes, pubs ...
