Hello everyone,
I have developed a technique that has to be implemented on a complex system. It will be implmented by someone else. I asked a question whether the implementation will materialize and will it be good for my project eventually or will be bad for me.

I got hexagram 41 changing lines 1,2,3,6 changing to hexagram 15.

Can someone please tell me what does the result indicate.

Hi Nirali,

It strikes me that you're essentially asking two questions:

1. Will the implementation materialize?
2. Will it (the implementation? the final result of the implementation?) be good or bad for you?

I suppose the complexity of the answer reflects the complexity of the question.

This is a gut feeling:

41 means decrease. Because you are handing your idea to someone else for implementation, it strikes me that 41 means you are decreasing your involvment. Lines 1, 2, and 6 seem to point in that general direction.

The nagging line seems to be line 3. The text reminds me of the way many software development teams functions. How much ownership you give to the software designers and how much to the developers?

15 is a nice hexagram to get. Lise's translation says, "the noble one brings to completion."

Still, what do you hope to get from this implementation? Is this supposed to be part of the research project for your degree you mentioned in an earlier thread? Do you need "positive" results to complete your degree?

Just should be one question

Hi Phillipa,
I should have just asked whether the implementation will materialize before the end of my project which is by the end of next month. I have the technique worked out on a simulation and someone else will be doing it on the actual hardware. If it materializes before the end of my project it will be excellent for me.
Just to let you know I want to have success in this since I am hoping for a disctinction which I have scored uptil now in the course and will need it in project too to get an overall distinction.
