I've just been away and it's given me a much better perspective on life in general.

I will continue with my business idea re another thread I started but I've applied for a job looking after a baby 3 days per week while her mum goes back to work but the job is 2 hours away.
I could still live here and drive up there and stay for the 3 days of work.

What do I need to know about my quest for paid employment

By all accounts it looks like I would be caring for another in a home environment and not going out pursuing goals although this could also mean for me to stay at home and keep 'cooking' up my business with my earth angels and staying put in my own home.

What is the potential of my application to care for the baby

Oh another tricky answer - it could be a no but line 5 says a clearing of obstructions - perhaps in my own mind the clearing is taking place.

I agree it is hard to know whether 37.1.2 means being at home with the baby or staying homekeeping to your own projects.


If it's 2 hours away and you stay there would you stay in the parent's house or would you have to find accommodation for 3 nights ? I'm just thinking the cost of travel and accommodation may exceed the actual pay.

It may be quite a pleasant job though in many ways and give you a bit of breathing space in terms of finance ?

Thanks Trojina - It's possible I may have to pay for accommodation although the cost in fuel is minimal as my car is very fuel efficient but until I talk with her about pay rates etc. I've no idea about anything.
She hasn't responded to my application so just got to wait and see.

Probably if you ask your question when you at least know if you got the job the answer may be more clear!
