Hi everyone!
I would love your input right now!
Just got news from home that my cousin had been missing for a year and a half.
Do not know any details or anything.
I asked IChing "What should I know about his disappearance?
and got 37. 4 > 13.
What is the family? What is IChing trying to say? Should I ask another question?

Line 37.4, "She is the treasure of the house," describes someone who takes care of the family by keeping tabs on all the expenses and all the comings and goings of the members.
From what you say here about only just now getting news that your cousin has been missing for so long I have to assume that your family is not that sort of close group. Therefore I think the I Ching is telling you that what YOU should know, or get from all this, is that if you want to have that sort of a close family someone - maybe you - needs to take on the job of keeping the members better informed. If someone were to take on that role it sounds like they would be very much appreciated.

another spin on this: your cousin has gone to find his/her natural group, his tribe, so to speak. 37 and 13 can be about structured relationships and group dynamics. seems like this cousin might have found his/her real tribe. the fan yao 13.4 talks of sitting on the fence, being unable to attack, theres something about a favourable impasse, some restraint that has been put on the situation which is actually beneficial.

perhaps there was some disagreements within the family which has caused this cousin to leave so as to keep the peace? (13.4)
