I really liked your interpretation.Hmm, perhaps to be a bit more expansive in your thinking, which might be - for example - to be more thoughtful (maybe less reactive) and more compassionate and tolerant in your dealings with this person? Or, to expand your thinking beyond an us-versus-them, winner-loser approach/outcome?
The related hexagram 21, is about taking decisive but appropriate action. For me, that doesn't imply a win-all, lose-all situation, but only that you try to be clear and direct where you need to. Maybe it means having a heart-to-heart talk - instead of a confrontation? Remember, the advice of 21 is not that you always need to bit down hard in every situation; sometimes to 'bite (or act or speak more) gently' is more appropriate.
Best, D
Yes it does.Hmm, I dont know if the answer addresses the timing of your response. But perhaps reading too much into it: it talks about doing this during the light of day, and also about how much time has already passed, and also the moving line is the first line - which some people think is about the very start - even the precursor - for a situation. So putting that altogeter, my advice would be to act soon - but not to act reactively, if that makes sense.
Best, D.
