I called her, and reached her voice mail.
I left a possibly awkward sounding message inviting her to call me back and wishing her well either way.
my heart was pounding! would it have been even worse if she answered?

The next 10 minutes were: me flipping through itunes and sad songs coming up.
aahhh! woe is me, f*** you itunes!
i kept skipping the tracks. i played two games of go, winning even though attention was with a doubt divided.

then i decided to relax, and drank a cup of wine.

Then she called back!
i told her i was happy she called.
I asked her to picnic with me, and she said yes.

I often do a daily reading, today got this:

the system i use says to consult the upper non-changing line when getting 4 changing lines.
so that would be line 6:

then i asked if it would be a good day to call her:
answer: and got 31 unchanging

i dont ask the oracle if it would be good to tie my shoes, but i feel that relationships are one of the most important decisions one ever has to make in their life. maybe im wrong? who knows?

Hooray ompom: The main issue now is what to put in the picnic and the weather forecast....and what shirt to wear ? I think you should wear an elk motif somewhere on your person....for luck.

I don't believe in any of these confabulated methods of using the lines that don't move. If line 6 were relevant you would have cast line 6 so IMO you got the lines you did cast.

So 19.2.3.4.5>49 I don't know if you got that before or after you called her. Looks like a good day to get on with things, release pressure (hex 28 is the yang pattern here) and eat (27 is the yin pattern) or take in nourishment from the situation.

6. this speaks of overconfidence and lack of caution. Odd, something that really struck me about her was her carefulness / cautiousness.

I didn't see this as about her really, but what you need to know about relating to her. In line 6 one is so happy one gets drunk and loses all sense. I imagine a scenario of a man who wins a huge amount in a casino but is so happy he celebrates with wine and when drunk blows all his winnings on the next game.

If you feel happy, elated, like you made a breakthrough of some kind, yes you probably did but try to not act like the casino man. Take your winnings and put them in the bank. How does that translate to feelings ? Maybe don't assume too much or maybe expose too much in the early stages...or it could be literally don't get drunk with her and act silly.

I'm glad you called her...and hopefully if you go on communicating in this way, letting her know you reciprocate her interest in you, then soon you won't need Yi to tell you how to proceed you can ask her directly.

I looked at a map and, directly between our homes, half way from each, is a village called
"Elk Grove". Of course we will picnic there!
Too funny.

Oh Wow....Elk Grove ! Perfect ! I am wondering what country you are in for picnic weather. No chance of picnics here in UK right now. At least I hope you aren't going to Elk Grove in the cold rain.

Strangely a number of time just before sleep I have had the image before me of these kicking back legs of an animal which I feel is an elk.


No idea why.
