I found this to be a very powerful answer, as both hexagrams are very spiritual. Any thoughts?

Is this ‘Judgment Day’? (Not literally.)
1.1.5 > 50.

50 The Caldron
as context. 50 refers to a human initiated process of progress and development (cooking) taking place. 50 is one of the few hexagrams that refers a man made object. By implication the Yi here says this is about human progress, not judgment or dividing wrong and right.

1.1 - Wilhelm/Baynes: Hidden dragon. Do not act.
> Gee, this really describes the current situation doesn't it? You have "the hidden enemy" of the Wuhan Coronavirus, the administration literally has been calling it that, and everyone is being told to stay home and practice social distancing - "do not act."

1.5 -Wilhelm/Baynes: Flying dragon in the heavens. It furthers one to see the great man.
Legge: The fifth is almost always the place of honor and authority in the hexagram, and here the great man is seen as the sage on the throne. The argument is that as things of the same kind respond to and seek one another, so is it with the sage and ordinary men. They are of the same kind, though far apart; and when a sage appears, all other men look to him with admiration and hope. Ch'eng-tzu says here that "Heaven and Earth are another name for Tao, and that because the sage is in harmony with the Tao or practical reason of the universe, how could men or spirits be contrary to him?"
Wing: Whatever you choose to do is in accord with the cosmos. Your thinking is clearheaded. Because of this your influence is great and your milieu will look to you for inspiration.
> "The flying dragon" - sounds like a description of the current virulent pandemic.
In the context of your question, "Is this a time of humanity being judged?," I think it says it is a time for clear headed leadership, and that the people will be in accord with that.
So no - I don't think your reading says it's a time *of* judgment, or alternately a time *for* judgment, but rather a time of - or for - cooperation according to the Tao, and harmony between heaven and earth.

I see 50. as representing the idea that we are all one, we are all in this soup together.

1.1.5
Each one of us at this time experiencing our own spontaneous reaction and seeing how it mirrors back to us where we are in relation to this ultimate All are One insight.
For example, when I heard the news did I rush to buy up a truck load of toilet paper for myself or did I sign up to deliver meals to shut ins and help others? Which group do I belong with?
Should I be proud of my foresight or ashamed of my greed?

So perhaps Judgement Day in that at this time we are each seeing where we are on the path to enlightenment, 50., and must self judge accordingly?

Hey everyone! I just wanted to let you know that I just asked about the covid 19 crisis too and my answer was 6.5 to 64. I've slways read that line as "a fight worth fighting". Plus, 64 makes me think that maybe the world is not ending. I usually don't asl big questions to the Yi, but I'm glad I did and I wanted to share. Hope everybody is safe and calm and may you find peace and hope in everyone around.
