Question on installing Chinese characters:

What method do you recommend to install Chinese characters on Win XP? I see there are options to load it directly from the XP disk, but are there other methods you’d recommend? I’m looking for “simplicity” of both operation and language.

If you don't have a Windows XP installation CD, but have Windows preinstalled on your computer, the contents of the install disk might just be present on your computer's harddisk. You should be able to use it from there to install the East Asian fonts using my instructions.
