Hallo

If not posting in English it helps to use Google translate otherwise most English speakers have no clue what you are saying. We read we reply but I think the job of translating is yours. Seems to be a trend lately for posting in other languages but not translating.

Oh my computer seemed to automatically translate this

Hi
I'm a little frustrated, to say the least. Because I always have hexagrams that encourage me to be patient and wait. So I asked, for how long? And the result was that no visitors came for three years. Now I assume that these three years are not precise, but that will be indicated here for a long time. Or does this perhaps mean that there are several rounds in the year before the event? How can it be otherwise, of course it's about love. I'll have to wait another 3 years or maybe just 2 or even 4 years - I could scream. Until next summer would be several eternities for me, but three years... I think I'm going to lie in a coma for three years * Joke *

Best wishes

The best translation software for browser I know, by far, is DeepL. It translates fully automatically as you write, and recognizes which language you are writing in, all at the same moment.

Just google DeepL, it doesn't cost anything, and it's really fun.... By the way, you can translate whole novels at once. If it's true, which I think it is, there is no character limit.

By the way, this was translated with DeepL. For me, this is wonderful because I no longer have to struggle with trying to think English while I write.

My browser sometimes does but sometimes doesn't (I don't know what makes the difference).

I agree it's better to post in English in the first place, if you could do that, please, Silberfee. You have a few threads open in German right now and most of us can't read them. You'll probably get more interest and replies.

About this one, since Trojina's browser took care of it

No, it's not necessarily literal, but it probably does mean a while.

Hilary has written a series of blog posts about time periods in the I Ching:

There isn't one specifically about three years, but she talks about it a little at the beginning of the 10-years post.

If you can search your readings, you might look at old ones that say three years and see how it's worked out in the past for you.

You could also try to explore with Yi what's going on with the delay, maybe what you can do in the meantime that might help when you do meet the special someone. Anything is better than a coma!

There is no reading that says only,
"Three years"

You have simplified the message you received and thereby disregarded important information. (Such as why? Or an of idea of how to do things differently..)

So which did you receive?
13.3
29.6
47.1
53.5
55.6
63.3
64.4
?

Each answer has more useful information than simply, "three years"
Such as....
if you truly must wait,
Or can change things.

I didn't know this, thank you for the hint. Grammarly is a tool I use and it's OK. Sometimes thou even I can find propositions from it that don't fit into what I mean by certain expressions... But I would prefer to be able to write everything here in my native language thereby having easier access to express what I really would like to express. But the problem would be then that only I and my fellow compatriots would understand. Wouldn't it?

The idea is that you write it in your native language, then use DeepL or some other site to translate it to English, then paste the English here. You can probably write your post directly on the DeepL site. I think that's what Soshin meant.

Exactly. That's what I meant and that's what I will do in the future. There is reason to fear this will raise my post count to unimaginable heights, though. :-D (Translated with DeepL)

Then that answer would be one where something can be done about the situation,
Since the screening off is self-imposed isolation.

While a line like 53.5 may refer more to external factors outside of one's immediate control,
Or that have to be worked through.

I've tried Google translator in this way and found its translations to be quite misleading compared to what I wanted to express, but maybe this one deserves a test.

Maybe it could be a good first draft for people, though? Then it could be tweaked if need be. Tweaking might be easier for some people than writing it all from scratch. (Maybe not you, of course, I'm just talking in general.)

Perhaps we should have a designated thread for what to do if not posting in English then we could just link to it rather than need to discuss it on each thread where there's a problem.

Getting back to the original question..
Thanks for posting Hilary’s posts on the significance of time in the IC, Liselle. Lot of good stuff there!

M2C on “three days” - I‘ve noticed how when doing Sunday I Ching readings for the week ahead the full meaning of the oracle will come together a few days later. Indeed, my friends and I would refer to “Manifestation Tuesday” because so often what we had predicted on Sunday would show up on that day, three days later.

On #1
The heading "Really 3 years?" should have been "Wirklich 3 Jahre?" for me at least to know that this article was in German...
I've tested the translator linked above on texts where I know the answer and found the Microsoft translator Bing better.
