First of all I have to mention that I am only starting with I Ching and thus very inexperienced.
I have a relationship with a girl I really like but it I am not sure if it has any future.
As I am now in a business trip that will take some time, I noticed that we speak less and less and I am getting the impression that she starts to think I am not the 'right' for her.
So I asked I Ching three questions:
Is there any hope for the relation? (I will be away for some time): unchanged 44
Are we meant to be happy together? 32>28
What course of action I must take now? 31>28

Can you please spare a few opinions? Since to me it does not look very auspicious...

What part of 44. "One should not marry such a maiden" don't you get?

Ditto 32.5, "This is good fortune for a woman, misfortune for a man."

and 31.2, "Tarrying {waiting, doing nothing} brings good fortune."

Okay, I'm being cruelly flip and you did say yourself you recognized the readings were inauspicious. Considering that you are away and will be for awhile yet I think the most positive take on these advices would be to not try to hang on to or deepen your commitment at this time but wait until you are not so far apart. The image of 28 is one of a bridge about to collapse. I think this suggests the distance between you is too great for a heavy romance and is causing your connection to collapse.
