I've been dating someone for a couple of months. Previous readings have been quite positive. And subjectively I've felt that way.

I'm not sure about that but in general, in many readings 37 refers to the roles and expectations within a situation. If everyone keeps to their proper place all is well kind of thing. But I find this often means just playing a role for someone rather than real intimacy. However that is not necessarily the case for you.

To me it might looks possibly like a rather circumscribed relationship ? Do you keep to set patterns and boundaries or is there room for expansion/ overlap into something closer ? I don't think 37 has to be family = closeness, the family is there as a functional unit, a household with everyone playing their own part which isn't the same thing as closeness. I have to say your interpretation is beautifully intuitive, and there are many points in it that seem to be spot on. In a sense I am someone in my own kingdom, and so is the person I'm dating... we're both quite independent -- but they definitely more than I -- and that goes with your/Hilary's interpretation of 37.5. There is definitely a sense in which the relationship so far 'works well' but is also circumscribed, and it is indeed precisely because they're "holding their own space quite separately."

So yes, there is a question here about whether we can move to a place of greater intimacy.
