Return to School: Hexagram 24, unchanging

Lately I've been feeling that my life needs a course correction, but was not sure what that would entail. Today it dawned on me that I ought to pursue something I've long had a passion for: Japanese language and Culture studies. I feel fairly confident in this decision, but decided to consult the oracle for another perspective. The result was hexagram 24, unchanging.
To me, I feel like I am at the point in the hexagram that speaks of going out again. After a venture to the city for trade school, I returned to my hometown to put my new skills to work, but now I find myself desiring to venture off again.
My question for you all is, what do you think the oracle is trying to say about this decision? Is it concurring with my thoughts to go out into the world again, or is it perhaps suggesting that I return even further to my roots before setting out?

Another word for 24 is Start, so in this sense 24uc would be emphatically encouraging you to empower your passion and step off on the next leg of your thousand mile journey through life...

I believe the answer actually shows a situation between those two extremes.

24 is an easy-going hexagram. It describes going around, and setting off to do things, in nearby locations. Nowhere very far - nowhere where you can't come back home in a few days (the 7th day brings return/recover). Stay somewhere where friends can visit you regularly (friends come without blame). By all means start some studies (it furthers one to have a direction and purpose), but only if you can do that in a way that you remain close to home. As a further hint in the answer, the Image describes closed roads and not travelling. A course but not too far away? Online studies?
