Good evening everyone. I met by chance and after a long time a person with whom I had lost contact but who had never disappeared from my thoughts. We had a long conversation that made me hope for a rapprochement. I've looked at several translations and gotten more confused. Some seem to say "Mother's corruption does not allow constancy" means an over protective attitude can prevent the possibilities from ripening which I suppose to mean that you may be looking for a response too soon and you need to give it a bit of time yet. Others say it means you're trying to hold on to this friendship when you need to just let it go. But others suggest it could also mean that by not doing anything, not nourishing the potential, the potential doesn't come to anything. Auugh, who knows? Anyway, I vote you give him three days and then send him an email saying something like, "I really enjoyed reconnecting. Please keep in touch!"
