I haven't heard from a man I care a lot about in 2 weeks. I've inquired here about helping him with money. And communicating with him. In any event I reached out to say I wanted to speak on last Wed. and no reply. We have an amazing business/foundation about to begin. There would be a job for him which I also shared here. I asked the IC 'how does he view this separation' and received 52.6 to 15. Stillness -when I know his mind is awash with worries -makes sense. I hope to hear from again.Any thoughts? Thanks Lisa

Forgot to mention he recently had back surgery. And cannot work right now.

Line 6 points to something that has already run it's course so I think this could mean he views the 52.6 Keeping Still as something that is not going to continue forever. Hexagram 15 here sounds like he feels the stillness is normal. So maybe he's feeling he has nothing to say. Is he aware of the job opportunity? Perhaps if you emailed him that you want to talk about that he would feel to respond.

Thank you. I agree with your interpretation-I think he knows he'll come out of this period. He has retreated before but not when we had a business going. I sent him an e-mail last week that the lawyer had a few questions for him in order to activate his contract with the foundation -but given his condition he could wait until he feels better. So he knows. I assume he isn't ready to respond. As you said "nothing to say". However I was hoping he would just let me know that he needed more time. I have jumped to the conclusion as I often do that I have had something to do with not talking. Again thanks. I would love to know more about the how to interpret the IC. Need to take one of the courses here. This forum really is amazing!

I don't think he is thinking about 'the seperation' at all. He's probably recovering on pain meds.

If you look at the lines in 52, they all reference body parts starting from the ground up. (toes, legs, loins, spine, jaw, brain)
Line 6 is no different.
At the top of the body is the brain. (The Think-amajig) line 6 references a Still Mind, hence authentic stillness.

Wow very interesting! I may be misreading his silence. It could be simply nothing happening in the mind now. He does have an active one but perhaps still now. Thank you for adding your interpretation.

lisaford sent me a message last week containing the following:

'you said he was not thinking about the separation at all but was recovering on pain medicine. Correct! I saw him yesterday and the first thing he said was that his brain wasn't working properly. He was on the meds! Very depressed. Very withdrawn. But was cheered that I sought him out. Thank you for your answer. It helped me view the situation from a non personal perspective. Is it best to post this reply on the thread about this?"
