I had a quarrel with my boyfriend about an hot topic: sharing expenses. Unfortunately, this is not the first time we argue about money. I share my reading also because I think it's really right for the situation. Writing it down also helps me a lot understanding it.
I asked the Iching how to see this quarrel and got 13 Uc: this is kind of a social situation, and I think that in this case it shows the lack of union between us. There is no fellowship because we can't find a way not to argue on this important topic and share our resources and cooperate.
I asked the Iching how to behave in order to find an agreement and a right way to share our expenses. I got 42.6 leading to 3. The meaning of this changing line seems related to a selfish behaviour and to a heart that is not steady. Probably I asked too much without giving first. I didn't give enough kindness and didn't listen enough. I asked something I can't have until I work on the relationship, I really find it difficult because I'm feeling like I already did a lot for him. But I now see that I could have been selfish and may be wrong. Or that maybe the line depicts the both of us doing the same mistake.
I wonder if it also refers to the fact that we don't have a clear agreement about how to share the money, which leads to misunderstandings.
