should i move forward? 63.2 to 5

this forum is awesome! I try an limit my readings and hardly ever ask a "should i do this or that?" but i've been presented with an opportunity that i thought i had lost...namely going back to school this fall...of course i still have to finish an application but it looks like that is just paperwork and that i would be accepted...but i just don't know what to do and probably need to just sit and be quiet and meditate...but the offer of still an opportunity this late in the game, i went ahead and asked - should i apply to the program...and I got 63.2 to 5!

can any one help with the explanation?

Hi, 63 applies well to the question of your application. 63 indicates a situation that is already finished, a mission accomplished, but small things can still be done. Here: going back to school is almost accomplished. You only need to make the application (a small thing) and then you will enter into a new cycle. 63 is almost the end of one cycle, prior to another cycle's beginning.
So, I take this as a YES, go ahead and apply. Then the outcome will be : 5 , waiting. Waiting to hear, for sure, about your application results.
63. 2 : the changing line introduces a complication. A woman in her carriage loses her veil. Do not go seeking for it and after 7 days it will be returned. How does this apply to the question of making the application? It could be saying that, by making the application, you will lose your "cover". You will become vulnerable. You will put yourself out and not know the results. But if you are vulnerable in making the application -- and feel that you've lost something (like the woman her veil), do not worry, because you'll get your veil back (and whatever that represents) in due time (7 days being the amount of time it takes for the application results to be provided).
It could be that the "veil" that is lost symbolizes something else, but it is up to you to say what an alternative meaning might be.
As I read it, my best understanding is that 63.2 to 5 says "go ahead and apply and then wait for the results" .Let us know what happens.

When you ask a yes-or-no question like "Should I or shouldn't I?" I think you tend to get answers that don't so much tell you yes or no but just give you a verbal picture of the situation so you might see it a bit more clearly, be more detached, and thus be able to decide for yourself if the answer is yes or no.

Thus 63.2 the losing the veil sounds to me like a description of how you thought you had lost this opportunity and now it has come back to you.

5. Waiting seems to refer to your intention to meditate on the situation for a bit.

So you see you're not being told yes or no, you're being given a picture of the situation and now you can more objectively decide what to do.

IMO since the image for 5. says the superior man eats and drinks and is of good cheer while waiting, I would take this as a sign to go ahead and apply even though you are still waiting to feel if this is really what you want to do.
