I have 2 companies that I own, in the second one I have 2 co-partners who create me a lot of mental problems and make me feel that they take advantage of me and my capabilities as well as the financial profit.
I have 2 choices 1) to be a devious person which will be a mental torture 2) to resign and let them destroy the company, a company that I spent my savings.

Do you think that will be better for me to resign?
5> 1,5,6 >18
I think the answer is: Even if you be patient there is corruption here, decay, the work has been spoiled.
Line 5.6 falling into a pit, it's how I feel.
I don't see any resignation here but I don't like hexagram 18. Perhaps I will be patient for a long time and I will finally end up ill. Seriously, I don't know what to do.

I think the answer is clear you need to wait. 18 is not 'the future' here but the situation. Line 6 shows rescue from an unexpected source. 5.6 isn't only 'falling into a pit' it's you've fallen into a pit but then helps arrives. It's important not to turn away these helpers so if you get some unusual sort of offer or escape route from the issues don't be too hasty to say it can't work. These visitors in line 6 might be people, might be suggestions, might even be your own ideas.

We are in 5 here and the stress is on relaxation (line 5) as if there is nothing to worry about. It's time just to fully enjoy a period of waiting. Even if it seems unlikely you can afford to relax a bit and as you relax some rather odd offers may come to you. Let them in, listen to them.

Line 1 shows that actually trouble you anticipate is some way off, there is time for things to happen yet.

I agree with Trojina here especially as it’s such a clear reading.
The Corruption is present as you already know but it’s best to Wait it out at this time.

Patience, till when? I agree I can't quit so easily but I feel so stretched. Indeed, line 5.6 gives me a hope of unexpected 'help'. I will try to be patient but it really makes me angry when people try to manipulate me.
I think if a line could represent the present situation would be 35.4

My own ideas, interesting. Perhaps I will find a way to 'fix' the situation.

I agree because I’m the same but I’ve also now learned that sitting with it for a while can bring a better outcome. Maybe you could ask What is the benefit in me Waiting

Plus waiting in 5 is not passive. At least Hilary and Lise stress that aspect and say the character for the hexagram shows a man dancing, sweating as if to show the sky how to rain. I'm not sure about that theory but for sure 5.5 is giving an instruction and a rather pleasant one at that

From

'Waiting with food and drink.
Constancy, good fortune.'

This isn't an idle time where waiting is passive. Rather one waits with expectation and certain knowledge things will be okay. Another instruction from the Image, and I like to insert a person's name for 'noble one' because somehow that makes it more direct.

'The clouds are above heaven. Waiting.
Mayorka eats, drinks and relaxes with music.'

Could you do that right now ? Enjoy your food and take time over it, enjoy a drink and some music and kick your shoes off and dance about the kitchen ?

I realise that seems kind of inappropriate almost given the dire straits you are in but it's what Yi says.

And looking further why would anyone in a situation where things have gone bad, where things need rectifying (18) be advised to chill out and enjoy themselves ?

Looking at the change patterns here, 42 the yang pattern 32 the yin pattern. It looks as if the way through in this configuration is to continue on as normal. These are just the patterns the change lines make and it's also IMO the bridge between 5 and 18.

Hello, and sorry for the situation.

I, too, think the reading indicates waiting, but not forever. You've asked if it's better for you to resign, and the I Ching says wait until some help arrives; in other words, it's better not to resign before this.

Good luck

Thank you all for posting. I absolutely agree with you. I try to be patient and work things out. It is not easy though, but I will not resign so easily, actually the right thing would be to make them resign!:sneaky:

Hi Mayorka,

Instead of working things out, just read what Trojina was saying
'Waiting with food and drink.
Constancy, good fortune.'

This isn't an idle time where waiting is passive. Rather one waits with expectation and certain knowledge things will be okay. Another instruction from the Image, and I like to insert a person's name for 'noble one' because somehow that makes it more direct.

'The clouds are above heaven. Waiting.

Let thing be as they are for now and focus on something completely different that is fun, that distracts you.
5.1 'warns' you with 'Stay on the outskirts avoiding action. Constancy preserves from harm.' (Blofeld). I think this implies both physical as well mental action.

Good luck and have fun!
