Should I start working weekends? Hexagram 43.4>5

Hello all and as this is my first post in the 2018 - Happy New Year! Here is my situation: Tomorrow I am coming back to work after much needed holidays. Through FB work chat I've read about some news from my other teammates that we will be moved to another team leader and as some people already left the company, I would

''probably have no other option but to start working weekends''

Currently the weekends are covered by others on a rotary basis, and most people want to do it because its better paid. However, I wasn't working them due to my valvular heart disease. My previous TL knew about it and it wasn't a problem. Then we changed TL once more and this situation never required any action as weekends were covered by others. But the communication in our work is pretty bad so my current TL probably doesn't even know. My condition is not very serious, just one of my valves doesn't work as efficiently as it should. Since last three years I am on a correct way of healing this condition. I won't get a heart attack or faint, I just need to rest a bit more than an average person. So I would rather abstain from working more than 5 days in a row. As this is just a gossip from some of the rather negative teammates, I asked I Ching whether I should start working weekends and received:

Hexagram 43.4>5

Whether I should *not* start working weekends?

Hexagram 9 unchanging

After a second thought, I also asked whether I should immediately go to my current TL and talk about this situation, received:

Hexagram 44 unchanging

Finally, I asked if I should wait until the situation develops itself naturally:

Hexagram 51.4>24

So how I can interpret this? I would say that I should wait for the situation to mature before making any action. What do you say?

I see 43.4 as meaning you should listen to wise advice and 5. is Waiting so together I think you should not start working weekends.
9 says going on alone so this also suggests not working weekends.
The image for 44 says the superior man spreads the word so that seems like it would be appropriate to discuss this with the team leader. As it is unchanging this may indicate that talking with the current TL doesn't change anything so unclear if the leader will pass this on.
51.4 sounds like a surprise so waiting for the situation to develop naturally could mean what happens if you wait until suddenly you are assigned a weekend and you'll have to go back to telling the TL about your needs anyway. Might as well speak up now when it's less stressful.
Altogether it reads to me as if you should not work weekends and that you should talk to your current TL about this and probably the new TL too.

Thank you Rosada. When having a second thought about it, it feels reasonable to ''cut the iron when it's still hot'' - even if it is just meaningless gossip, it will be better to secure my position before it will be too late.

Just to let you know, I've spoken with my current TL, she assured me that it shouldn't be a problem but I should talk with my new TL. She is currently off sick so I will do it once she returns. Once more, I Ching turned out exactly correct. Also your interpretation was top notch

43 shows the resoluteness of your current work, and 5 the expectation of positive results accruing from it if you should start working weekends. It's not giving you a yes/no answer, but telling you that your work won't be affected, and could even be better for you.

Your unchanging results show that you are resolutely open to whatever comes your way.

Finally, I asked if I should wait until the situation develops itself naturally:
Hexagram 51.4>24

You have vitality in 51 and the return of it 24. It is saying that the situation won't develop naturally, but will depend on your own vital input. Again, it is not giving you a yes/no answer, but telling you that reliance on natural developments could be counterproductive. I recommend that you tell your new boss about your condition, and say that you are willing to reconsider working on weekends if it should be required of you.
