Should I stay? 33.1.4.5>22

Hi all, I've hit some pretty rough patches at work recently and I'm beginning think more and more that I'm just not cut out for this role. I've been getting a lot of negative feedback in the past few months with little or no positive feedback so it does seem like I don't know what I'm doing. Everything seems to be uninteresting and dull. I'm not sure if that's because I'm not doing well or I'm not doing well because I'm finding everything dull. I'm just so lost I asked if I should find another job. It looks like 24.5.6>42 is telling me that there will be rebirth with grave misfortune from line 6, and self-actualization with 42. I'm not sure if it's saying that I will experience rebirth in my current job or in a new job. I wasn't sure which one so I asked if I should stay with my current one. It looks like 33 tells me to retreat. Whether it means to just take a step back and recover my bearings or to step away from the job and rethink my life from there. I might be reading this entire thing completely wrong so I would appreciate what you all would think.

I am not an expert in this so I suggest you take what I am going to say with a pinch of salt.

First I recommend to read this entry from Hilary, How far down the rabbit hole…?.

Second, I think that the answer from Yi is about to left the things calm down: "If he leads his army in battles, he will be thoroughly defeated in the end" (24.6) and "Withdrawal for good reasons -- for the Superior Man" (33.4), that you may be have to wait until the "superior man", the main ego, adjust to the new role you are facing, the armies of egos that live in our inside are feeling this kind of discomfort but if you take your time you will find your purpose "It is beneficial to have a goal to move to" (22).

May be you must revisit the answer you had last year

I would be focusing not so much on the unexpected twist, but more on recognising what it is that needs to be re-shaped for me to grow and then setting about remodeling my inner and outer worlds as soon as possible.

33 - 22, Retreating to Grace reads to me as if to say you could leave and never miss it, but where would you go then? What would you Retreat to? I think the next step before quitting this job is more investigation into what other work is available.
