Hello everyone:)

It's been awhile since I posted here...but I've been creeping around as always...trying to gain more IC knowledge via your wisdoms, castings, and experiences. I'm perplexed with relating these IC replies to me questions and am hoping I can get some input from you all!?

I'm contemplating moving/changing roommates due to a few uncomfortable and chronic issues with my current roommate (whom I love as a sister, but struggle with the effects of her very severe mental illness). Also, I'm somewhat interested in moving closer to the city in general.

I asked IC, "Please show me a picture of me moving to Grant Park"? IC replied: 8.3.4 -->31.
Did some research around here on those lines and wonder if line 3 is warning me about the new roommate? (Who seems very even-keeled and nice from my brief interactions with her so far). And, no idea at all what line 4 or hex 31 and how they relate to the question.

So I then asked, "Please show me a picture of if I stay where I am?" Response: 21.1 --->35.
ughhhhh.....
Both seem fairly negative to me??? That's disheartening in this situation!

I have to make this decision fairly soon and am very torn. I hope some of you wise people will help me out with your thoughts, wisdom, and experiences with these two answers.

Thank you so much! Namaste':bows:

I read 8>31 as achieving harmony by greater influence. I would prefer that you stayed with your roommate and helped her control her mental illness. Many mental illnesses can be controlled by medication, but the ill refuse or forget to take it, and someone needs to be there for them. If your roommate has a multi-chambered pill box, then you can know whether or not she has taken her medication for the day by examining the box. I am assuming that she is on medication but is not taking it regularly. I have had friends with exactly this problem, but since I did not live with them, I could do nothing about it.

This shows people around who will cause you misfortune, which is somewhat mitigated by "those outside," who will help your situation. In other words, a very mixed bag . . .

You are being held in your current place for your own good. Therefore, it might be quite difficult to get out of there. :)

Pocossin,
Thank you so much for your insight. Due to exactly what you say, this is a terribly hard decision to make. My heart wants to stay by her side for those very reasons. When she was taking her meds, she has mostly tolerable days, then she had a fierce manic phase (on meds!) in which she literally believed that a shirt I wore out to dinner one evening proved I am "possessed by demons". From there, she went on to tell a few others that she was had been dreaming that I had "marked demon signs on her door at night". In this week long phase, she threatened to these people that she felt she needed to "kick me out of the house" to protect herself and her home from the "demons"...
Now, I've been accused of many unjust (and some just!!) things in my life, but I must say being accused of being possessed by evil demons (due to my clothing!) is a first and very frightening for me! I do understand it's her mental illness saying these things and at the same time, it's VERY unsettling for me ti imagine/worry that she randomly may truly believe these delusions.
At the very same time, I care very much for her and hate the thought of leaving her without both the income of my rent and the concern of a caring and (mostly) understanding roomie.
Sorry to throw all this info at you!! Your response keyed right into the personal struggle of this choice....so I shared the "rest of the story" with you.
Thank you so much for taking the time to reply to this:)

Thank you Ginnie for your insight. I'm confused about the first reading interpretation though.... It seems hard to decipher if those "outside" would be the new place/roomie and the one causing misfortune is my current situation...or vice versa?

I looked at the place in the city today and really liked it and the woman roomie there seems just delightful.....I gave her a "good faith" deposit and plan to move Sunday. Naturally, my current roomie now seems balanced again and I feel terrible about going through with moving now. I do care very much for her, but I can't trust the balance to stay and ultimately, I've decided that to preserve the friendship, it may be for the best to not share a house with her.
Her family has gotten involved with this last manic episode, so I feel confident that she'll be physically safe.
Still a difficult decision though....
Thank you again for your insight!
