There's someone who lives at a distance that I would like to get to know better and I got the hexagram 7 uc for "Should I wait the right time to approach him?"

I think I should use my intelligence to do so and try not to cross the line or come across as desperate (?). Many people relate the hx 7 with conflicts but I don't think that applies to my situation. So I guess it's worth the wait to define exactly what I want from this connection and then give it a shot.

The Image refers to people coming together to help each other and further says you can increase your connections by being generous and appreciative. Perhaps this means you could strengthen your ties if there were something you could call on this person for help with and then you could let him know how much you appreciate his help.

Maybe it simply means know what to say if he asks, "Why are you calling me?"!

Funny thing is that a few days ago I was pondering about helping him out with adding subtitles on his youtube videos (he has a youtube channel) but I kinda backed off. Also I'm learning French and he's from France so I thought that I should ask for his help.
